Backstory

Grew up happy with supportive parents– however, they followed mostly traditional values and were weird (not unsupportive as of such, just uncomfortable) about anything that wasn’t traditional. Masculine women, feminine men, transgender people and homosexual people weren’t condemned– just mostly ignored.

Because of the people that surrounded him as he grew up– classmates, adults, teachers– he learnt more about these topics. Brett wasn’t grossed out, was curious actually, but people made fun of such things, and so he just joined in.

Relationships Family: Loves his parents, respects them. Doesn’t talk to them much but tries to every once in a while. Has an older sister (Evelyn, 25), married, still has petty sibling fights with her when they talk.

Brett is kind of dumb. I mean, it took way too long for him to figure out he liked men when half of his celebrity crushes were men, and he never really liked his girlfriends during high school, and he likes his best friend way too much. Despite that, he’s kind of like a puppy– especially when he’s in a relationship. He’s friendly, a bit teasing, and overall a good friend to have.
