I have a very cool facade. I can seem intimidating at first, but that's not how I actually am. I'm very protective of the people I care about, I'm not afraid to stand up for myself. I am afraid of letting people get too close, though. Deep down, I fear they're not going to like the real me, which is why I can push people away. I would still do anything for the people I care about though. I've been through a lot and don't have many people I can count on.

Sarah lives in Outer Banks, which is divided in two parts. The Pogues, the lower class of the city, and the Kooks, the rich people. She's originally part of the Kooks, because her family has a lot of money. But then, she falls in love with John B., and ends up joining his group of friends, who are Pogues. That also makes her a Pogue now. She becomes friends with Kiara, JJ, Pope and Cleo, and together they go find the treasure John B.'s dad has been searching his whole life. But her father, Ward, always seems to stand in the way. He wants the treasure too, and puts their lives at risk countless of times. He's their enemy, and Sarah stays loyal to friends.

Sarah feels like an outcast sometimes. She's a Pogue now, but she can feel insecure. Her father is their enemy, so she's afraid people will judge her because of him. Her brother, Rafe, is also a sociopath. Basically, she has no family left. The only one she's still in contact with is her younger sister, Wheezie, whom she loves the most.

Sarah likes partying, she's good at socializing, but she can feel lonely sometimes too. She's been through so much. She rarely let people see that side of her though.

She's dating John B., but things can be complicated between them sometimes.
