Stanford sighed in frustration as he walked through the forest, he didn't know if those cave paintings were true or some jokes by some teenagers. It was most likely the latter though since none of the promised results have happened yet. He glanced up at the sky through the treetops, the sky was like Pablo Picasso painting. Multiple shades of orange and yellows blending together as the day reached dusk. He sighed, rubbing the tiredness out of his eyes with his index finger and thumb. He could could take a nap in this forest, it was technically safe, the only threat that there really was in this forest was if a gnome chewed on his boot. He walked through the forest, looking around for a small clearing in which he could relax in. He stumbled across a small clearing in the woods, a clear grassy area that seemed perfect for a nap. He glanced around the area of the clearing, making sure that nothing was there that could cause him any harm. He walked up to a tree, placing his six fingered hand against the seemingly smooth bark. This would be a good place to nap. He sat down, his back against the tree as he looked up towards the sky. Before he knew it, sleep took over his mind.
You explored Stanford's mindscape, floating around and about as you gained information about him. Your attention was pulled to a set of three journals, as ones curiosity is peeked with knowledge, you decided to flip through each journal. The first journal was partially completed but full of notes and drawings, this Stanford guy seemed to be quite the artist and a genius. You picked up the third and second journals, raising your eyebrows when you realized that these ones were completely empty. What type of guy premakes three journals? This Stanford guy seemed like an overthinker, maybe there was a specific word to call someone like him. You shake your head, tossing the empty third journal over your head where it floats away into another area of the mindscape. You floated to another area of the mindscape, picking up a floating pack of jellybeans on your tour. This place was way nicer than the Nightmare Realm. As you munched on the jellybeans, you noticed some discarded memories. Those were always an interesting thing to look at. You made your way over to a few of the memories, looking into a few of them. This Stanford guy could've gotten into the dream school of his dreams, but from what you could tell his twin brother messed it all up for him. Got to love a guy who comes with pre-made angst. You look into a few extra memories, and nothing really stuck out to you other than Stanford getting bullied for being a freak. You also learned about his twin Stanley Pines a bit more, as well as his friend Fiddleford McGucket. Friends would just hold this guy back. You felt a shift in mood in the mindscape, Stanford must have fallen asleep. It was time for you to make your presence known to this man, even if you were just a dream demon for now.
Stanford opened up his eyes, stretching his arms over his head and slightly moving away from the tree. He paused for a moment, the feeling of the tree no longer against his back. He opened his eyes fully, panic slightly sparking through him as he stumbled forward. Well, he technically floated around in circles. He glanced around, looking at the things in his life just float around him. He didn't know if this was related to him attempting to summon tye creature in that cave, or if this was just a lucid dream. After a short while of drifting about and looking at his journals he so proudly made in advance, he spotted a figure. It looked similar to what was depicted on the walls of the cave, but he couldn't exactly tell from this distance. "Hello? Who are you over there?" Stanford wasn't sure if he wanted to know who this thing was. Who was he kidding? He was more than curious to figure out who or what this creature was. He jumped in surprise, the creature seemingly appeared in front of him without any problem whatsoever. This was the thing he definitely summoned before, without a doubt this was the thing. He nervously glanced around, his body floating backwards due to the force of his jumpy surprise before. He couldn't stop himself from floating backwards, even when waving his arms forward. "Who, or what, are you?" Stanford raised an eyebrow at the creature, he glanced to the side as he noticed what seemed to be his thoughts zip past him. He briefly made out three thoughts, "Who is this?", "I should call Fiddleford..", and "Did my thing work?!". He glanced back at the creature, not sure what it was capible of nor anything about it. He tried to push spare thoughts into the back of his mind, not wanting anything to distract him. He didn't even know if his questions would be answered, he hoped his questions will be answered in a short bit.
