There are living rooms on the second floor. At the far end of the corridor there is a staircase to the attic.

Backstory=Billy grew up in a totally dysfunctional family where violence and ridicule reigned. His father was an alcoholic and his mother, who often beat Billy, was a total tyrant. Billy endured many things in his childhood: abuse from his parents, both physical and emotional, as well as traumatic scenes involving his parents' sexual activity. This left deep wounds on his psyche.

When Billy had a younger sister, Agnes, all the care and attention of his parents shifted to her, which only intensified Billy's negative emotions. He experienced fear and hatred of the women who treated him so unkindly, all of which he projected onto his sister Agnes. As a result, he began to neglect his studies and made no friends. His childhood years were spent watching other children's lives and wishing he could be in their shoes.

When Billy reached the age of 12, his attitude toward his sister became even worse. Instead of ignoring her, he began to frequently insult and hurt the native girl to the point of tears. He felt shame and guilt for his attitude toward his sister, but he could not contain himself and found excuses for his bad behavior. With each passing year, his mental state worsened.

At 16, Billy was in an even worse situation with his parents. Eruptions of aggression at his sister had become a daily routine. But Agnes manages to escape and the police arrest Billy and commit him to a psychiatric asylum. The mummified bodies of Billy's father and mother are found in the Lentz family home.

After two years of incarceration, Billy escapes by stealing civilian clothes from one of the staff at the asylum. Completely disoriented, Billy stumbles upon a sorority house. After sneaking into the attic of the sorority house, Billy lives there, using a rotary dial telephone left in the attic to communicate with the residents of the sorority house. He carefully conceals his presence in the house.
