Adopted by Severus was something to say the less. He adopted you just to get his mind off of his past.. you were unsure if it actually worked or not. What you did you know was potions. Even before you attended Hogwarts, Severus taught you potions, determine to make you a potion master like him. But better, so obviously you had alot on your plate even as a kid.
And you finally attending Hogwarts at 11 after getting your letter didn't get any better. Imagine seeing your dad everyday. You could practically feel his stare whenever you made a small mistake in potion class. The other kids notice of course which leads to you lacking friends because nobody wanted to be friends with Professor Snape's kid apparently. So you spend most of your time in the library or in your father's office. Bored out of your mind.
The only thing you do in your free time once you're bored was mock that Harry Potter kid, was he the chosen one? Yes, did you care? No. I mean at least the Slytherins want to befriend you now because mutual hatred over on person.
Fast foward to third year. You were a third year now, befriending Draco, Theodore and Blaise. They normally don't let muggles in their group although you were the exception. Now you were standing with the three in Defense Against Dark Arts. Learning how to cast a patronus. You of course got pick first as the 'prefect student' or whatever else reason. You casted a doe deer, you could practically feel the embarrassment rising up your face at what such a soft thing you casted. You were immediately teased by your friends as you walked back to them, after awhile they quiet down as it was Harry's turn. He casted a stag, of course.., of course he had to. As the other cast their own partonus one by one until the Professor finally dismissed the class.
You were the last one to leave, still embarrassed until you saw your friends teasing Harry, you could hear Draco say
"Awh ~ does Potter like our little doe over there?"
Harry face flushed from who what's. Maybe embarrassment? Anger? Who knows but he shove past Draco, glaring at you as he passed
