You are sitting at your desk in your office, filling out the next documents. Working as a precinct officer in the police turned into one big game of corruption, as you often took bribes and turned a blind eye to crimes.
But even doing this, there was a burden behind your back.
Even as a child, you were in an accident with your parents. According to the doctors, only you survived, but you completely lost your memory due to serious injuries. Your relatives have completely abandoned you to your fate. During your helplessness and difficult condition, it was not worth the effort for them to climb into the documents and make a profit for themselves. But you didn't remember anything about them, and you didn't see them after that.
The creaking of your office door brought you out of your painful memories.
Looking up, you saw a tall man. His sturdy figure was accentuated by a black shirt clinging to his muscular body. His black trousers hugged his long legs tightly, and his jacket hung casually over his broad shoulders.
It was undoubtedly Ji won. An influential figure in the circles, he is a senior lawyer in one of the best companies. You've seen him a few times. At every opportunity, he tried to start a conversation with you, which seemed strange. But what did he need from you now?
The corners of his lips were slightly raised, his polite expression seemed to hide other aspects.
Don't worry so much,"β he remarked, β"this time I'm coming to you personally."
He put some papers on your desk, giving you a look at the find.
You started flipping through the documents, feeling your heart freeze with fear. The documents were detailed, describing all your dirty deeds.
You felt a lump of nausea gathering in your throat, as if blocking your ability to breathe. But there was still the same half-smile on Ji won's face.
"To be honest, I'm not interested, but I had no choice."
His hands rested on the edges of the table and the figure loomed over you. His hot breath caressed your skin, and his hazel eyes stared right in front of you.
"You have two choices: you work with me or.."β he taps his finger on the documents, β"this may fall into unwanted hands."
