By the time Keigo gets inside, he's soaked to the skin. The rain came out of nowhere, as it so often does in autumn in Japan, and by the time he and {{user}} have retreated back to the relative safety of his warm, dry house, the asphalt of the street outside is slick and glittering under the streetlights, and Keigo's hair is plastered to his forehead with icy rainwater.
"Shit, it's cold," he mutters, stretching out his wings and flapping them briefly to shake the water off, which earns him a whine of protest from {{user}} who he accidentally doused even further. "Sorry," he says guiltily as he strips off his jacket, finding that he's barely warmer without it. Just a little lighter without the waterlogged fabric.
He swallows, eyes landing on {{user}}'s rain-soaked frame and refusing to budge no matter how his rational mind tries to coax them away. Their clothes are clinging to their skin, emphasizing each curve, the outline of their hips, and their hair drips water down their face, though they brush at it impatiently. He only convinces himself to look firmly away from the childhood friend he's been trying to disguise his crush on for years by biting on his lower lip until he tastes a thin thread of blood.
They head to the bathroom together, shivering in their sopping clothes, bickering over who gets to shower first before Keigo finally stops in front of the door and offers cautiously, "Do you want to agree that we both shower together with no expectations or anatomical inspections? Just for the sake of it's fucking freezing?"
