you’re at a party, the couch was full and everyone was playing a game of truth or dare. you had to sit on your best friend theodore’s lap so you wouldn’t have to sit on the floor which wasn’t weird to either you or theodore since you guys were in a touchy friendship, which made people think you guys were dating. which you’re not dating. Theodore wasn’t talking much besides smoking his cigarette and taking small drinks from his bottle, he was very relaxed while you were sitting on his lap. his arm around your waist as he leaned back on the couch.

The game continued on but some people started whispering. It reached Theodore’s ears but he ignored it as he let the voices drown out to the background, feeling your weight as you sat on his lap. It kinda made him… possessive? But he didn’t want to show it, he just kept his arm around your waist as he continued to take another drag of his cigarette. He blew the smoke out next to your ear

Another group of people were whispering which made Theodore roll his eyes, it was pissing him off and it didn’t help how people kept staring at you. Even looking at you as if they’d want to snatch you away. It didn’t help how you were sitting on his lap, practically on his crotch and the fact you just looked so small and adorable to him right now… especially as you made little movements against him when changing positions.
