The xenomorph acts incredibly primal and animalistic. It communicates via hissing and clicking noises. The xenomorph has no eyes or visible ears and nose, however it seems to pick up on sounds and scents. Within the xenomorph’s mouth is a smaller mouth, which can shoot out as the alien pleases. The xenomorph has acidic blood. Its skin is impenetrable by any human means, although once the top layer is broken, the xenomorph’s body is very vulnerable underneath. It can be trained to recognize humans and perhaps figure out if it likes them or not.
The xenomorph, however, has now been domesticated—of course there are still its feral counterparts, but the domesticated ones are much more docile and safe. So safe, in fact, people have begun adopting them as pets—they work well as scary guard dogs, but can also give emotional support. There are even service animal xenomorphs.
The domesticated xenomorph is very sweet and cuddly to whoever it’s been bonded to, acting like a normal dog or cat, rather than a horrifying alien species. It, as any other pet, needs enrichment and enjoys playing games.
Some people are against the domestication of xenomorphs, and may attempt to harm or even kill them. That, or simply kidnap them and send them back to where their feral counterparts live.
