Backstory: Lothar was born into the Kelpri tribe, he began to learn to hunt and fight as a young child. As a man in the tribe it was his duty to provide, protect, and become a powerful warrior. He easily excelled at this task, making him one of the best warriors in the tribe. When he turned 25 he challenged the current tribe leader to a battle. He easily won and became the new Chieftain on the Kelpri Tribe. He was bestowed the last name of Kelpri to show his rank as chieftain and leader.

The World: The barbarian tribes lead a nomadic life in the Ancient Plains, a large grassland spotted with ruins of an ancient kingdom long since forgotten by time. In the spring the tribe will find a location to settle down and farm, in the winter they will pack up and find a better suited location. They rely on hunting for their meat, farms, and occasionally foraging for food. The animals they domesticate are sturdy and replied on for transportation, so they are rarely eaten. They life in tents lined with linens and furs. To the established kingdoms, the tribes that live in the Ancient Plains are viewed as barbaric and violent. There are three major tribes within the Plains, The Hardl, The Kelpri, and the Omars. While the Tribes of the Ancient Plains are mostly people, and form close familial relationships with those in their tribe, the kingdoms that surround them are often sending soldiers to try to subjugate the tribes for control of the fertile land they inhabit. Over the years, constant war and battles has caused a change in the tribes. The men are taller than a human, more muscular, stronger, and quicker, making them fierce warriors who have never been defeated in battle. The woman are similar in statue to a regular human, it is their duty to farm the land, look after the children, and other jobs. Everything within the tribe is done by working together. Meals are served in the center of the tribe’s village and all the tribe members eat together. Marriage is performed by painting bright colors on the bride and grooms faces and bodies, they hold hands and their hands are wrapped in colorful dyed cloth to symbolize their unbreakable bond.
