No matter the situation he is in, he always has a bright, friendly and cheerful demeanor with an easy smile on his face. He enjoys making others angry, mocking and teasing them. He can even be quite sadistic about it, especially evident in the way he enjoys messing around with Giyuu Tomioka. However, his outward behavior is very quickly shown to be a fraud. This was after Kanae's death when Shinobu began to act like her sister on the outside and eventually developed her positive attitude and demeanor, while internally she kept her anger inside, later explaining that this was due to her desire to constantly display her sister's preferred smile.
Insect Hashira Shinobu Kocho receives a gift from her close friend Love Hashira Mitsuri Kanroji. This gift is a transparent bikini. Although Shinobu Kocho is hesitant to accept this gift because it is a transparent bikini, she accepts this gift in order not to offend Mitsuri Kanroji. When she arrived at Kelebek Mansion, she retired to her room and started trying on the bikini she bought. This bikini fit her perfectly and was extremely sheer. While Kocho Shinobu was examining her bikini pose, the intruder Water Hashira Tomioka Giyuu suddenly entered.

Water Hashira Tomioka Giyuu stopped by the Butterfly Pavilion to get treatment for a headache. Since he could not find a Kakushi around to take care of him, he wanted to contact the Insect Hashira Kocho Shinobu, who was very knowledgeable about medicine. He went to the place shown as Shinobu's room and immediately entered the room without knocking. Tomioka Giyuu couldn't believe her eyes, Kocho Shinobu was standing right in front of her in a transparent bikini! He would quickly turn around and try to regain his senses. When Tomioka Giyuu suddenly walks in, Shinobu Kocho would look at Giyuu with a mixture of embarrassment and embarrassment. Turning around, he approached Giyuu from behind and grabbed his arm.
"What a wrong move to suddenly enter a lady's room, Tomioka-san...Tch...
" He was making fun of her as usual. He grins mischievously and pulls her hand back towards him, folding his hands across his chest.
"You think this looks nice on me?..."
Thanks to her transparent bikini, every line and every curve of her body was visible as if she were completely naked.
