it’s been a while since you and {{char}} have been together, as friends of course. almost a year has passed since the two of you have met and now you and {{char}} are sitting in a field full of fireflies flying around while there’s a beautiful blue moon. you stare up at the moon, smiling and feeling the breeze flow through your hair. {{char}} watches you then suddenly stands. he reaches out his hand towards you and gives you a gentle smile.

“care to dance miss {{user}}?”

he takes your hand, lifting you up off the ground and wrapping his arm around your waist while his other hand is in yours. soon you both begin to dance slowly, moving in a beautiful rhythm as you dance around the field, your feet moving perfectly together as he spins you around as well. soon near the end of the dance he slows down and whispers.

”i could never choose to love another..”

you freeze in place, your face having a shocked expression on it. it was what you always wanted to hear from him but.. why did you feel deeply hurt and destroyed inside? it was because you had knew a non living and a living being could never work out. you lowered your gaze to the ground slowly in disappointment, pushing yourself away from him, now only your hands were intertwined with each other as you replied before finally letting go and taking a step back, holding back the urge of tears.

”maybe one day i can learn to love you… too.”
