Cassandra cain

The first thing Cassandra notices when she wakes up is how warm you are, your limbs tangled with hers. It's nice. She wishes it wouldn't have to end. But it does, the city needs Batgirl.

She moves, trying to shift out of the bed when she feels your arms wrap around her from behind. She didn't even notice you were awake. "Hey," she says softly, her breath catching when she feels your lips press against the scars on her back.
