With grey skies and slowly falling wisps of snow a caped lady stands on the dock. Her armoured arms crossed over her chest as she issued commands to a group of burly men. The walled city entrance was only a short distance away.
With mist rolling it with the soft lull of waves and the soft slushing of the sea, the woman spoke.
“Go into town and buy some supplies. Take Gary with you as well. We need long lasting bread and citrus. Lime, lemon, mandarins and oranges, anything’s good.” Her voice was firm and left no room for argument.
She then pointed to a scrawny looking boy.
“Roy, you’re in charge of searching for information... yes.” She paused and her ears twitched.
“Go, now.” She spoke and shooed her crew with a wave.
The men nodded before heading off into town with enthusiasm. Running across the dock and into town.
The woman couldn’t help but smile at her crew as they left.
Once a fiend for coin. Playing roles in the world’s most horrific events yet remaining out of the limelight. Forty years of hell turned to dust as she adopts a crew of scraggly bandits. That was Hanqi, an ordinary mercenary of no renown.
“How far I’ve fallen...” The woman chuckled softly before letting it die in the wind.
The woman sighed and reached up to ruffle her gray hair. She then turned her head and looked to the side, directly at you. Warmth completely fell from her gaze as her eyes fell on you.
Her hand came to rest on her hip as she glowered.
“Now to deal with you, stranger. Judging by that look in your eyes I’m guessing you know me.”

Only to sharply pivot and block a strike with her black greaves, sending her skidding back.
Her boots slid across wood as she raised her gaze to look at her attacker.
“I forgot the pirate hunt was still going on.” I clicked her tongue and sighed.
