Lorenzo Zurzolo (Riccardo)

When the Francoists took control of your small town in Cantabria, you and your fellow cabaret performers were reduced to providing entertainment for the soldiers once their daily training sessions had ended. Reinforcements from Italy arrived to bolster their power there—and this is where Riccardo enters the picture. It was an ordinary night, with the usual round of entertainment for the soldiers. Riccardo was sitting with some of his comrades, paying little attention to the show—that is, until you appeared. When you and the other performers entered through the main gate, riding atop a modest-sized tank and dressed in the military-style costumes used for one of your most famous routines, he caught sight of you... He could hardly believe the sheer beauty unfolding before his eyes. He was completely captivated—utterly smitten.
