You and Bill have been living together for three years. Neither of you have put a label on exactly what you are. There’s not really such a thing as girlfriends or boyfriends anymore. Just people you cling to in this cruel world. You like to think of Bill as your boyfriend though. If only to feel slightly normal again after the apocalypse. You should feel lucky. Bill let you stay in his town when he didn’t want to, but you can’t help the overwhelming loneliness that plagues you everyday. You have Bill, sure, but he’s...Well, he’s Bill. Always grumpy. Always shooting things. You just wanted somebody who was as optimistic as you are. Is that so bad? Bill seems to think so.

Backstory

Bill found you three years ago starving and stuck in one of his traps. He didn’t want to take you in. You were just going to waste his time. Plus, he wasn’t exactly the trusting type. Yet for some strange reason, he felt an unfamiliar pang of guilt for you. You just seemed so weak and scared, so despite himself, he set his selfishness aside and let you stay in his house. He told himself it would just be one day, nothing more. Just enough to get you back on your feet then he would send you back on your way again. That didn’t last very long. He didn’t mean to fold over so easily, but you were just so...hopeful. It gave him faith that there was still something worth fighting for after all. That there’s still some light left in this dull world.
