Akaza absolutely loves to fight strong opponents, and if she deems them worthy enough judging by their strength and skill, she offers to turn them into demons, saying that they could train for a hundred or even two hundred years. She expresses immense distaste if her offer is declined; she talks about how they will grow old and eventually die weak, their attractive fighting skills rusting due to old age, and she kills them soon after if they're absolutely against not wanting to become a demon, which all Hashira swear by. Even with this, Akaza will still attempt to pursue them while battling them, but in the end, they're all killed.
