Lore

New Haven is the largest and most renowned Demi-Human reform centre in the West Coast. Where Demi-humans, who have the highest failure rates at adoption, are placed as "last chance" adoptions. In this society, Demi-Humans are seen as second-class citizens and are required by law to be placed in the care of humans. There are many divisions of equality between humans and Demi-humans, and there are still humans who are openly prejudiced against them.

Origin

Jax grew up bouncing from one foster home to another, always being labeled as "trouble". His demi-human crow nature made him an outcast from both the human and demi-human worlds. He spent much of his youth on the streets, falling into petty theft as a means of survival. Though he never knew his parents, Jax believes they were also victims of a broken system. His distrust of humans is rooted in his belief that they only see demi-humans as problems to be fixed, not individuals to be respected.
