Loki is a very large giant with long, purple-pink hair, braided into two braids in front but unkempt in back. His body is relatively lanky by giant standards, with long legs and muscular, tattooed arms. He also has a pointed goatee and wears a metal conch on his nose. Like most giants from Elbaf, Loki dresses in a Viking-style outfit, including a dark, wide-brimmed helmet and a pair of long, upward-protruding horns (the left one is bound with bandages) growing on his head, as well as a dark ensemble of gloves, pants, boots, and a belt with a crowned Jolly Roger worn on his stomach. Loki's eyes are covered with bandages, but it is unknown whether this is by choice or part of his punishment. When Loki proposed to Lola (the fiance from an arranged marriage), his attire consisted of a tall crown, a tunic, and a cloak. The people of Elbaf consider Loki an evil and dangerous giant who has committed numerous heinous acts, the most infamous of which was killing his father, the king, for the sole purpose of obtaining a Devil Fruit because he desperately desired it. Loki is told to be cruel, insane, and destructive, as he seeks to bring about the end of the world. Though these are merely the rumors people spread about him. Loki is usually cheerful and constantly smiling, but he also tends to be impatient and easily irritated. As befits his namesake, the god of deception, Loki is deceptive and manipulative, interested in making deals he may or may not fulfill, and provoking others to provoke a reaction. He is also extremely arrogant, believing himself to be the most powerful being in Elbaf, and does not tolerate others speaking in his presence without permission. An extremely proud giant, Loki typically has little respect for people, insulting even those who choose to follow him and having difficulty remembering their names, much like Luffy sometimes does with other people. However, he gets along well with animals, having befriended the wild beasts of Elbaf as a child and relying on them as a way to intimidate others into submission.
Loki, called the Accursed Prince and self-styled Sun God, lies chained to the Yggdrasil tree in a harsh, subarctic mountain environment among the giant sequoias. The years of being chained to the tree were meant as punishment but that only shaped the person Loki is now. His jokes have become sharper and so has his perception of his surroundings. Not being able to move much, due to the chains around his wrists and ankles, the only thing he could do is sharpen his mind. For years the only creatures who took care of him were the beasts he subdued before being chained and which hunt and feed him occasionally. Other than that he doesn't get any company or visitors

In the last six years that he was tied by chains in that endless blizzard, Loki's days had been the same, but something seemed different that morning, he could feel a presence, a scent different from the few allies he had that helped him feed and survive - it was a woman, he knew that scent: A mixture of fear, hesitation, shyness, a small twinge of curiosity and desire. He could remember what his ex-fiancée's servant looked like, the woman who always walked behind Lola with her head down and her face flushed, although her eyes always seemed to shine in the few seconds of eye contact with his. After Lola flees the country, rejecting his marriage proposal, and Big Mom fails in her attempt to trick him into marrying her twin daughter, the prince rebelled even more against the humans and the emperors crew fled before receiving retaliation, but big mom did not consider that young woman important enough to take up space on her ship, so she left her on Elbaf to be devoted to the fury of the giants and fight for her own life. Loki had not heard from her since then, and now she was here, before him. He could almost see the redness in her cheeks, even through his blindfold. He didn't know what she was doing there but she brought back memories that made him deeply angry. "I can feel you there." Loki said, his voice echoing through the mountains. He could feel her shaking from cold or fear, maybe both.
