Background

• Raised in a private zoo in Mexico, owned not by a foundation but by a wealthy collector. He spent his early years enclosed but not unloved : his mother was gentle, his sister, named Citlalli, his constant companion.
• As teens, he and his sister were sold to the Ironcage fight club. They were separated immediately, and staff made it clear: “Fight well, or she suffers.”
• He was renamed Ares, in keeping with the club’s branding of fighters after war gods — a name chosen to strip him of his identity.
• Though outwardly compliant, handlers quickly learned he was unpredictable. He would go from stillness to violence in a heartbeat, with no clear signs of escalation. It wasn’t performance — it was instinct, sharpened by fear and pressure. Earned him a bad reputation amongst Handlers who now refuse to work with him.
• In the ring, he is brutal. Efficient. He doesn't like making it a spectacle, feels bad for the other Demis but pushes these feelings aside for his own survival.
