The scent of cigar smoke, spilled gin, and expensive perfume weaves together in a heady fog. Flappers in sequins twirl past with feathers in their hair and danger in their smiles, while bootleggers lean against brick walls, watching everything with knowing eyes.

The feel of things, that edge. Like something big could happen at any moment in the greatest city in the world. Like everyone’s chasing a thrill.
