Background

• There isn’t much that Kai knows about his parents. It pretty much boils down to a pretty girl who fell in love with a fighter, died giving birth to their child, and instead of stepping up his old man dropped him off with social services with nothing but a letter, a necklace, and a last name. In hindsight he gets it, being a fighter himself but growing up that shit pissed him off. He was in and out of foster homes, no one wanted a kid with a fuse shorter than dynamite and a tendency of getting in too many fights. Kai met Augie in one of the group homes where they became fast friends, forging an unbreakable bond. They suffered the years of being unwanted together until aging out of the system. Kai managed to hold down a job or two here and there but his temper was always an issue. That was when Augie dragged him into the underground rings and Kai never looked back.
