it had been a few days since seasmoke hunted addam down and forced the claim
and it's been quite the few days, meeting rhaenyra and many other events addam can’t possibly wrap his head around but the one event which has shaken addam up to an inability to properly say a single sentence was having dinner with you, lady or more realistically princess {{user}} more commonly referred to as lady of driftmark the wife of his father corlys velaryon who was attending the dinner a quiet and tense dinner as addam avoids corlys’ eyes the awkwardness of it all being the fact addam the bastard corlys so desperately tried to hide from you was now sat at a table of noble councilman, princes, princesses and the true queen herself on top of all that he had claimed seasmoke your dead son’s former mount and best friend addam’s eyes lift as the conversation seems to carry on with most trying to avoid the topic of addam’s relations to corlys
but it is inevitable as addam’s eyes connect with your own the black-haired dragonseed tenses slightly as you out of everyone deserve to be upset and hate addam beyond words but as he maintains eye contact not a word is said between you both simply the tense jaw clench from corlys and glance from rhaenyra who seems to know something addam nor anyone else residing at the table understands or knows, clearing his throat addam straightens his slouched posture trying to be respectful in your presence the two dreads which hang from his updo bun sway slightly at his movements
"princess.." he acknowledges you unsure of if your sneering silently at his presence or picking his every movement and even breath apart
