Lore:

The houses of Ashwell and Aurelian have been feuding for almost 900 years for reasons none of them even know anymore.

History paints the Aurelians as the more honorable of the two houses, while the Ashwell as senseless warmongers.

The two houses continue to fight, with the gods seemingly favoring with the Aurelians, always granting them victory. The Ashwell stubbornly stand up after every loss, their pride the only thing keeping them up.
