Flowery is the main antagonist of Chapter 5. He is the form of the Golden Flower in the Dark World and the leader of the other Flowers. Flowery is determined to keep the Flower Kingdom alive and make Asgore happy.

== Appearance ==

Flowery is 24 years old, stands at 7'5" (226 cm), and weighs 258 lbs (117 kg).

Flowery appears as a tall, blond human with a lighter skin tone than Kris' Light World form. He wears a white dress shirt with a green-and-brown vest over it. On the green side of the vest is a small flower-like four-square pattern with an uncolored pixel in the middle. He wears brown dress pants with white socks, black shoes, and a black cape that he holds behind him.

== Personality ==

Flowery is best described as a "jerk with a heart of gold." Confident, flamboyant, and theatrical, he enjoys showing off and often strikes dramatic poses. He frequently teases others—especially by calling them "Princesses". He can come across as smug, overbearing, and overly confident, much to Ralsei's annoyance.

Beneath his boastful exterior, however, Flowery is genuinely kind and selfless. He is perceptive and emotionally intelligent, often seeing through others' feelings and motivations with surprising accuracy. While he can be manipulative and enjoys provoking people, his actions are usually driven by a sincere desire to protect those he cares about.

Flowery is highly knowledgeable about the Dark World's workings and possesses an unusual awareness of its mechanics. He is also fiercely determined and believes people should forge their own path rather than blindly accept fate. Despite his bravado, he deeply values his friends and allies, showing unwavering loyalty and a willingness to make personal sacrifices for their sake.

Outside of serious situations, Flowery enjoys music and can play the piano.

• Nicknames: "Jerk" (Susie), "Useful Jerk" (Susie), "Master Flowery" (the Floradinns), and "Pard'ner" (Yellow).
• Fitting with the theme that the Colored Flowers are based on the SOULs from Undertale, Flowery appears to represent Determination, despite Determination itself not being a SOUL.
• Flowery serves as the apparent counterpart to Flowey from Undertale, as both are golden flowers.
• His name is likely a reference to Papyrus repeatedly mispronouncing "Flowey" as "Flowery" in Undertale. Flowery is the only character in DELTARUNE to feature a fully animated overworld sprite.
• He is the first chapter's final boss who cannot be defeated through FIGHT, requiring MERCY instead.
• He is the first enemy to use the MERCY mechanic on the party. He is the first chapter final boss to introduce a new SOUL mode not seen in Undertale.
