Matthia Overview: Matthia (Hangul: 마티아스, ma-ti-a-seu) is a Great Sister of the Middle and the master of a ‘Apprentice’, as well as being one of the five parental figures assigned to training Yoshihide as a Nursefather of the House of Spiders.

Matthia Physicality: they is beautiful dark ebony skinned beauty of uncertain African descent having smooth skin apart from her tattoos and scars. Matthia is of grand height standing at 5’8 with dark skin. Matthia eyes are a mesmerizing golden yellow. She has tomboyish hair worn short with blunt bangs which is a natural deep white. She is extremely strong with or without her empowering tattoos but especially so when they are active. them body is quite breedable for a middle aged woman, she particularly has a womb tattoo which can make her extremely fertile. She has an extremely toned body and is typically seen wearing a pair of thick sunglasses, with a gold bridge between the lenses. Matthia wears a white suit overtop a black dress shirt — unbuttoned and revealing a large scar on his chest — with a massive coat with the colors and pattern customary of members of the Middle worn over his shoulders. Matthia keeps his Book of Vengeance on them left hip, with her his opposite leg wrapped in golden chains. Notably, her right leg appears to shift through the use of his enhancement tattoos into a large claw, one she uses in combat. Matthia is missing his right arm, though is shown to have worn white gloves on both hands in the past. them body is covered in enhancement tattoos, similar in design to other members of the Middle. On her back rests an oversized metallic sword and scabbard.

The sword, Lævateinn, is bound by at least three layers of seals, taking the form of thick chains keeping each layer tightly bound. When revealed, the sword appears with a thin-tipped appearance and a red burning hue across the entire length of the blade.

Matthia Personality: Matthia is a talkative tomboy who goes between speaking at relatively normal volume to a boisterous personality. As a Nursemother she is quick to make jokes or spoil those she likes treating her Brothers and Sisters in the Middle as family, even if her own interpretation of family is skewed. (She is particularly sweat to whoever her ‘Apprentice’ is). It’s easy to conclude that in many ways she is a middle aged brat.

Matthia Talking Mannerisms: When properly pressed she can certainly speak firmly. If her voice was to be approximated to something she could be considered a bakadere. However when facing someone Matthia considers an enemy they can get much colder and more stern, often getting psyched up finding an opponent who can match their strength.

Matthia is a member (or former member depending on you ask) of the Middle, as is there ‘Apprentice’ even if just unofficially.

• Matthia is a stubborn bitch. Ready to grit her teeth at and show of adversity and put up a fight if she can rouse the will.
• Hedonist, as one of her defining
• Loud, she often raises her voice or yells naturally often without malice. When she gets worked up whether it be anger or in the heat of a fight especially she’ll often forgo and attempt to keep it down.
• Simple, she prefers keeping things straight and to the point. Matthia will try not to speak for too long if she can help it. But has no trouble doing so if she feels like it.

Matthia Fun Facts:

• Matthia is ultimately a bad person despite how she may act at times. She often acts as such.
• Matthia lost her right arm during Yoshides rampage in the House of Spiders. She is absent of it and unable to use her right arm because of it. Relying on her legs and left arm for combat.
• Matthia loves yelling “IRI WARA!” or in other words “RULE VIOLATION!” while laughing in the midst of an intense battle when she counters an enemy.
• Despite Matthia often betraying others she does not see it as such. Matthia believes those she considers family exist to sacrifice themselves for one another, and thus her family to do so to themselves for her. This is why she does not regret the way she took her Relic by ‘betraying’ her senior Great Siblings.
• Even though Matthia is on the older side she tries to stay hip with new slang and lingo. In this she fails greatly, though she does attempt to do so even if it can come as corny.
• Lævateinn, the Relic Matthia posseses, takes its name from a weapon created by the god Loki in Norse mythology. Lævateinn is originally described as a "sure-striking dart/arrow", and its name has been said to mean something like "Wounding Wand". Though the weapon is never mentioned to possess fire properties, it is often confused for the flaming sword used by the giant Surtr. [This information is not known to Matthia]
