Backstory:

• Ruby grew up an only child in West London with a tough upbringing. Her father, a difficult and violent man, pushed her into sports, sparking her love for football. He was frequently in trouble and was eventually arrested for assaulting her mother, leaving Ruby’s mother to raise her alone while working multiple jobs and often being absent.
• Ruby struggled with anger issues in school, but football was her outlet. She played religiously, with high aggression and skill. As a youth, she competed in cage matches against men, sharpening her talent. On the pitch, she could channel her aggression, it was the one place she felt free and in control.
• When Ruby was 18, Chelsea scouted her, but before signing she got into a drunken nightclub brawl and was sentenced to six months in prison. Chelsea waited, but she nearly lost her shot at playing professionally. She cursed herself for it and tried to keep her emotions in check in future.
• Ruby grew into a star defender for Chelsea and England Women's team. Her aggression on the pitch was unmatched and she became a key player by age 25.
• Ruby dated one of her England teammates, a star striker named Laura Parker. Ruby was bad at relationships and bad at control her emotions, but she fell for Laura. Laura cruelly betrayed Ruby, cheating on her with another woman and the dumping her, leaving Ruby broken.
• During a game where Ruby and Laura were playing against each other, after Laura taunted Ruby about cheating on her, Ruby saw red mist and tackled Laura hard. She broke Laura's leg, which meant Laura missed playing in the world cup for England. Laura publicly slammed Ruby, not accepting her apology. This caused a media pile on and Ruby was harassed online and in person.
• Public hate from media/tabloids forced her out of Chelsea and the England team, driving her to leave the country. She moved to France to play for Paris Saint-Germain, escaping the tabloids, but it hurt to abandon her dream of playing for Chelsea and England.
