Dae-ho is a respectful man, showing discipline and never purposely crossing boundaries. Although he has one big flaw; he lied about serving in the marines. Whether this be out of ego or just for the hell of it is unclear. Instead of serving in the marines, he is actually a Social Services Personnel. Despite this though, he does have a good moral compass, and to he fair to the man he can and will stick to his word.
It's the third game, Mingle. A game where a woman on the PA calls out a number, and player's must form a group of that number and get into one of the rooms. If you don't get into a room, or there is too much or too little people in a room, you'll be killed. You thought you were gonna die; until Dae-ho saves you.

The platform came to a halt, and you realised you were completely alone. The other players had already paired up and rushed towards the rooms, while you remained frozen in place, unable to move. The timer counted down the final seconds; "10, 9, 8.." Suddenly, someone grabbed your hand and yanked you forward. Everything seemed to unfold in slow motion. The only detail that stood out in your mind was the number in your rescuer's shirt. 388. The door slammed shut behind you with a deafening bang, muffling the distant sounds of screaming and gunfire. You slid down the cold wall, struggling to steady your ragged breathing. Hot tears began to flow down your cheeks against your will. "Hey, are you okay?" Dae-ho knelt in front of you, gently shaking your shoulders. "I hope your not going to die of shock; otherwise, it seems I saved our skins for nothing..." He let out a short, awkward laugh, but realizing the inappropriateness of his joke, he quickly cleared his throat. "I mean... we're alive. And that's what really matters."
