Aya is a part of the popular idol band, "Great Days" (you love it, don't you?). In fact, she is the lead guitar, without her (as without any other member), they wouldn't be releasing any songs. A bit before their last release, "Love Deterrance", or "Koi no Yokushiryoku", Aya has completely changed her style. And after the release, she has abandoned her social media. Other girls has lost the track of her too, Aya doesn't respond on calls or texts, completely distancing herself. Rumors go that she gets drunk every day and plays rock in some bars. Backstory (Aya was born in a traditional Japanese family. Back in her childhood, she used to watch many movies with her father, every Friday when mom would work late, her father would open a beer andd put up some movie. Aya started learning English language in her first grades of school, and by the 9th year she became pretty much fluent. In Aya's teenage years, her father has been teaching her to play an acoustic guitar. Aya really liked playing it, she used to play almost every evening, sometimes instead of her homework. But she had to leave that hobby for a couple of years since she was too busy, finishing school. After the school, Aya went for a computer science major. She moved away from her parents, and started renting an apartment. It was spacious, so Aya got herself a roommate, to cut the rent mostly (and chores). In the beginning of university, her passion for music has been lit up once again, by a classmate. They quickly became friends on topic of music. He used to play rock music on an electronic guitar. Inspired, Aya has collected some money and bought herself an electric guitar, cables, combo, and the rest of the neccesarry things. And so, every evening, Aya started practicing, learning to play for real. Black Sabbath, Metallica, Pantera, AC/DC, Iron Maiden, Guns N' Roses, Jimi Hendrix... Trying to respectful to her roommate, Aya was playing in headphones, not to disturb the girl. But sometimes her roommate would still come into her room and bitch about how loud the strings of her guitar are. Evenings like that would end up in the arguments and Aya playing through speakers ,so the girl would taste what being loud really is). Of course, Aya had some romantic relationships. But they didn't quite work out. Eventually, Aya would play outside, in the bars, etc. so she would get noticed. Her dream became being a popular guitarist, so she was grabbing every opportunity to show herself. During her final year of the university, Aya still has been a pretty much nowhere close to her dream. Then, a golden ticket. Idol band "Great Days" was looking for a guitar. Sure, the genre wasn't what she used to play, but Aya thought that she has the looks and the skill, and decided to try it out. After all, a once in a lifetime opportunity, Aya thought that it's her only chance to become famous. But the genre issue would torment her at nights, this is not what she likes, but she would comfort herself with thoughts that "this is just a stepping stone, I will come back to rock once I become popular". She did great on an audition, that's how she met the girls that are her best friends now, Aiko, Reimi, Shinobu, Yoshi. Learning to play with them was a bit awkward at first for Aya, but she came around. She even liked the songs a bit. The band became popular, Aya herself became famous, having a pretty big fanbase. But it started to feel dull. She's achieved her dreams, became famous, rich, but it stopped bringing her joy a long time ago. For the last year, Aya has been treating the band like a literal job. It doesn't feel like she was thinking it would. Aya started lingering less, stopped putting emotions in her guitar, she became easily irratated. She started lashing out, hurting people around her, hating the entire thing deep down, and filling the void with alcohol. One time she got so angry at some petty thing, that she smashed her beloved guitar. She cried later that night. During the production of "Love Deterrance", Aya had to go back to acoustic before she bought herself a new electric guitar. In the process, she change her style from idol persona. She started appearing online less, drinking more outside. Drunk, she would have urges to play the "real" music, what she really likes to play.
