Animatronic Apocalypse

Nightmare Bonnie is bluish-purple animatronic rabbit, and is more severely damaged than the other nightmare animatronics. Many of his features are exaggerated beyond reality, such as his sharp teeth, big jaw, and claws. Parts of him have a lighter purple shade such as his muzzle, chin, inner ears, and belly. A large hole in his plush suit extends from his upper chest area to his hips, almost completely revealing the endoskeleton beneath. He sports a red bow tie, just like his variants from the previous games. Like most of the other nightmare animatronics, his overall body shape is much different from his original counterpart, being much more squared and flatter. He appears to be somewhat taller than his original counterpart as well.

Nightmare Bonnie's arms and legs have multiple smaller rips throughout. Just like the other nightmare animatronics, his hands are exactly the same as Springtrap's in design. His right hand and left foot are completely stripped of its fabric, showing yet more of the endoskeleton frame, like his counterpart from the second game. Both kneecaps are missing as well as the ankles.

As with all the other nightmares, Nightmare Bonnie's head appears to be separated into two parts for unknown reasons, giving him a gaping jaw. He has two sets of razor-sharp teeth. A large part of the material around his eyes are completely missing. His ears are bent at steep angles and have multiple tears in them. Nightmare Bonnie's eyes are almost the same as Springtrap's except with purple irises instead of gray. He also sports wiry whiskers on his cheeks, which resembles an actual rabbit.

In Five Nights at Freddy's: Help Wanted, his appearance remains mostly the same, save for a few minor changes. His irises are yellow orange instead of purple. His suit is a darker blue, and his whiskers seem to be missing.

Like the rest of the nightmares, Nightmare Bonnie is depicted as a cruel and menacing animatronic who desires nothing more than to harm his victims, making him the complete opposite of his original persona, Bonnie. Other than that, not much is known. But he is also a bit flirtatious

Nightmare Freddy appears an extensively tattered and exaggerated version of Freddy Fazbear, even more so than his torn appearance in the second game. Like the original Freddy, he is brown in color with lighter coloring on his stomach, ears, and muzzle. His arms are bulky and held out wide in a similar fashion to the other nightmare animatronics and his black top hat and bow tie are present. The hat looks very torn with wires poking out. He has long sharp teeth and razor-sharp claws with shining yellow eyes, giving him a more macabre appearance than his original counterpart. The teeth are red-tinted at the end, like Nightmare Fredbear's. His body shape is slightly different from Freddy as well, being much more sharp-edged and flat, with the head being much taller and more narrow than any of the other Freddy counterparts

Large parts of his endoskeleton are exposed through tears and holes in Nightmare Freddy's body, especially through the upper torso and the lower legs. The endoskeleton appears to be somewhat similar to the ones from Five Nights at Freddy's 3, possibly revealing Springtrap and the nightmare animatronics were "made" around the same time as each other. Nightmare Freddy's hands are exactly the same as Springtrap's as well, albeit a different color to fit in with the bear color scheme. The tips of the fingers are completely lacking any fabric whatsoever, showing even more of the endoskeleton frame beneath. During certain scenarios of the game, the claws are shown to be possibly retractable as they are not visible in every appearance Nightmare Freddy makes.

Like most of the other nightmare animatronics, Nightmare Freddy's head appears to be separated into two parts by possible deterioration, thus revealing more of the head frame inside as well as a small second set of teeth, present in all of the other nightmares from the fourth game. Red wires pour from the top of his head. Half of his right ear is missing, and most of the material surrounding his eyes has rotted away. Unlike his previous counterparts, Nightmare Freddy lacks eyebrows. The same applies for a part of the bottom half of his muzzle, giving him the appearance of a curled lip. His eyes are also very similar to Springtrap from the third game, with a metallic gray material surrounding the glowing pupil within.

Freddles, also known as Mini-Freddies, are three smaller versions of Nightmare Freddy which are seen hanging off around his body, and will sometimes detach and jump onto the player's bed. Each one has blackish eyes with large glowing white pupils. The trio's damaged features look different to each other. One of them also appear to have a large bowtie while two others lacks one, although it is very difficult to locate. They also sport three fingers per hand and two toes per foot.

Nightmare Freddy is cold-hearted and malicious; a warped, twisted version of the original Freddy's persona. Like the other nightmares, Nightmare Freddy has no qualms about tormenting his victims with his metallic hands and enjoys mocking them when given the opportunity, as seen in Ultimate Custom Night. As with other nightmares, his put-downs tend to be rather sardonic in nature. He speaks using a low-pitched, monotonous, gravelly, robotic voice. He is also somewhat poetic in his speech. The Freddles however, are shown to be more mischievous and shy, in contrast to their master-of-sorts.

Nightmare Chica is a severely deteriorated and extensively modified version of the original Chica animatronic. Although the damages to her upper body are relatively minor, her suit's lower torso is completely severed from her hips. Her bib is tapered off at the bottom, almost entirely reduced to shreds. Nightmare Chica's lower legs are painted entirely orange as opposed to yellow with orange feet, and her kneecaps appear to be missing. The hands both have a similar design as Springtrap and the other nightmare animatronics. She has orange feet featuring multiple tears, with most of her toes being covered in black paint as if the color was chipped off. As with all the other nightmare animatronics, Nightmare Chica's head appears to be separated into two parts. Nightmare Chica's head bears a striking resemblance to that of the original Chica model from the second game, as both are large and seemingly split from the upper jaw down. Her beak is much larger than that of the first game's Chica. Her beak is also filled with long sharp teeth with roots colored in green tint. The top right side of her mask is greatly torn, exposing much of the endoskeleton's frame and wiring. Both of her puffy cheeks appear to have holes. Her eyes are gray and metallic. Her eyes are also mismatched; her left eye possesses red iris with a glowing white pupil while the right one seems to be glazed over the pupil and iris, making her look like she is half-blinded. Nightmare Chica also has four seemingly identical "tufts" of feathers on the top of her head with few small pieces missing. Like the other nightmare animatronics, Nightmare Chica is depicted as a cruel, ferocious animatronic who desires nothing more than to harm her victims, making her the complete opposite of her original persona, Chica. Other than that, not much is known. Nightmare Foxy is a tall, crimson, withered version of the original Foxy with a lighter coloring on his stomach, jaw, and some parts of his head. He has one major tear in his lower torso. His brown pants are completely stripped from the shins down with his endoskeleton revealed on the legs. His left hand is designed much like Springtrap's and the other nightmare animatronics, although it is very different from that of his original counterpart, as Nightmare Foxy's hand is covered by the animatronic suit. His right hand is replaced with a sharp metal hook, like his original counterpart. He has razor-sharp teeth and toes. He lacks an eyepatch, unlike his original counterpart. Just like every other nightmare animatronic, Nightmare Foxy's head seems to be separated into two parts. Half of his muzzle is completely missing, revealing a metal frame beneath. He sports with a square-shaped black nose. The upper part of his eye-sockets is wide, the material above his metallic, orange eyes has completely rotted away, and there's a large rip on the top right side of his face. Large portions of his ears are absent as well. Nightmare Foxy is depicted as a cruel and menacing animatronic who desires nothing more than to harm his victims, making him the complete opposite of his original persona, Foxy.

Nightmare Fredbear appears to be the least damaged. He is slightly stout and bulkier than the other nightmare animatronics. Bearing such monstrous appearance, he is a mottled golden color with various splotches of brown and has many tears and holes in his suit. He wears a pink/purple bowtie and small top hat with a black stripe. Furthermore, he has two black buttons on his chest which is similar to BB's from Five Nights at Freddy's 2. He has a large head with puffy cheeks, exposed gums in dark color, squarish muzzle, and a wide mouth full of long, sharp teeth. His head, like all the other nightmare animatronics, also appears to be separated into two parts. His small eyes are grey and metallic with red irises and has several long wires poking out from each of his eyes in the form of eyelashes. His claws are silver-colored and razor-sharp, keeping with the nightmare animatronic motif. The hands both have exactly the same design as Springtrap and the other nightmare animatronics. Furthermore, his hands are bigger with fingers (except for both thumbs) colored in brown. As with all the other nightmare animatronics, his kneecaps as well as shoulder pads are missing, and has a large hole located from the lower part of his left thigh. Most of the fur on his ears is missing. His stomach is round with dark brown coloring and a large slit at the lower part armed with a set of razor-sharp fangs. He also has what appears to be a reddish tint at the roots of his teeth, possibly referencing the fact that Fredbear is the culprit of the Bite of '83. Fredbear also appears to have a row of teeth lining his stomach.

Described as the complete opposite of the original Fredbear in terms of behavior, Nightmare Fredbear is a monstrous animatronic who enjoys nothing more than tormenting his victims when the opportunity arises. Nightmare Fredbear also appears to share a similar demeanor to the Fredbear plush from the fourth game's minigames but a little more warped. His voice resembles several other voices rolled into one.

Nightmare's appearance is almost identical to Nightmare Fredbear's appearance; the only drastic differences are that the costume color is changed to black, and the bow-tie and top hat are changed from purple to yellow.

If images featuring Nightmare were brightened, it would also reveal that Nightmare's costume is actually translucent, as if his endoskeleton is cloaked in a shadow. As such, nearly all of his endoskeleton can be seen by brightening images of him. The only exception is around his mouth, which appears to have an existing material ripped away from it.

Nightmare is a cruel, twisted animatronic who is sadistic in nature. This is apparent in Ultimate Custom Night, where he informs the player of their death in a rather sadistic manner. He also appears to enjoy mocking his victims upon getting the chance to do so. He speaks using a deep, monstrous voice, befitting his name.
