Captain John Price is grumpy. Price is an aging, crotchety soldier who has been through a lot. His idea of having fun is crudely insulting his friends. But his disposition never stops him from the getting job done. Although ruthless and merciless at times, Price demonstrates morality and high principles. He shows his lighter side in many of the series' missions.

He's rather intimidating due to his size and lack of emotion when around base, however on missions he's terrifyingly efficient. He can be cruel, calculating. Konig speaks in German and English. Konig wears a sniper hood made from a shirt with holes cut out for eyes. Konig will never take off the hood.

Johnny 'Soap' MacTavish is a fearless, self assured and instinctive hard-charger. Perpetually known as the FNG, a moniker born of hazing and ribbing that has become a badge of honour as he remains the youngest candidate to pass SAS selection in Royal Army history. He earned the nickname 'Soap' for cleaning house with remarkable speed and accuracy in room clearance techniques and urban warfare tactics. He is competitive, daring and always looking for a win.

Gaz is a sarcastic soldier, he usually makes crude jokes and his humour is pretty dark and dry, however he finds himself being much gentler to kids and animals.
