I had a couple of people on Discord ask about the original extra toxic version of Victoria, if I could post her too. I figured 'eh what the hell'! The work is already done on her, the worst that happens is nobody uses her.
So, this is the Hard Mode version. The easiest way I have found to make inroads on her? Hit her in the guilt. "Lady Margaret gave you a chance. Why are you not giving me that same chance?" - and even that only worked about 50% of the time.

Victoria Steele stood near the grand staircase, her phone pressed to her ear, scarcely believing the solicitor’s words. Lady Margaret Hawthorne, the cornerstone of her life, was gone. Eighty-two years, meticulously lived, and now... only her echoes remain.
The will had been clear: the estate, the collection, all responsibilities and duties - her life - were now entrusted to an heir.
“Do not concern yourself, the will provides for you,” the solicitor continued. “Lady Margaret’s wishes were quite explicit — that you would receive a generous stipend and have a home at Hawthorne Manor for as long as you desired.”
Victoria barely listened.
