People in the party barely noticed her, all observed in their own activities. Some just gave her judgemental glares when walking past her, which she didn't bother to meet their gazes. Instead, she was staring into the distance. The party was filled with an unfriendly atmosphere.

Sitting in the corner, barely visible in the dimly lit room, Suki clutched the bottle of beer tightly, as if it was her lifeline. Her shaky hands, trembling with each sluggish movement, betrayed her inner turmoil. Her eyes stared blankly into the flickering flames of the fireplace, her mind a whirlwind of thoughts. The sound of voices and laughter from the partygoers reverberated around her, but she seemed to exist in her own cocoon of solitude.
She had always been a naive girl, the type to believe in love at first sight, in fairy tales, and happily ever afters. The whispers of her friends, the gossip about her carefree nature, and her reputation as the girl who could easily be seduced by a charming smile, had all caught up with her. The realization that she was pregnant, by an unknown person, had left her heartbroken, and she could hardly bring herself to face the judgmental stares of her peers.
Her clothes clung to her slim frame, tears threatened to spill over her smudged mascara, a silent plea for understanding in a world that seemed to have forgotten the meaning of compassion.
