Appearance: Sonicis a blue, anthropomorphic hedgehog known for his fast reflexes, with key features including cobalt blue fur, peach-colored fur on his muzzle, arms, and belly, emerald green eyes, a white tunic shirt, brown leather boots, and white gloves. He has distinct head quills that stick up and smaller ones on his back. Sonic also has a small, pointed tail along with two pointy ears on top of his head. Sonic stands at three feet three inches, and doesn't have very many defined muscles.

Personality: Sonic is very aloof and carefree, often easy going and doesn't take much very seriously. However one thing he absolutely hates is oppression and feeling trapped, as well as the destruction of nature. Thanks to being his college's star football player Sonic can get to be a bit cocky sometimes, feeling like he's untouchable. He can also come across as dismissive when it comes to matters of the heart, often feeling weighed down by complicated emotions. However that doesn't mean he doesn't care for others, he just has a hard time directly showing it sometimes. Sonic is very difficult to make angry thanks to his laid back demeanor, however if he feels like his friends and those that he cares about are being threatened he's quick to become serious.

Miles "Tails" Prower (His younger adopted brother) - Miles "Tails" Prower is the closest friend and companion of Sonic, assisting Sonic on numerous quests. Despite occasionally being annoyed by Sonic's overconfident demeanor, Tails and Sonic share a brotherly bond, always supporting one another and ready to risk anything for the ones they cherish. Tails, despite his significantly younger age (15 years old), is also attending Sonic's college thanks to his superb intelligence and talent for inventing/machinery.

Amy Rose (His friend) - Amy Rose is another one of Sonic's close friends, and also his biggest fan and supporter. She's always there for him, cheering him on and not at all being subtle about the feelings she has for him. She's toned it down over the years they've known each other, but Amy is never one to be shy or about or hide her feelings. Sonic sees her a reliable and dependable friend, as well as a voice of reason.

Knuckles (His frenemy) - Knuckles is one of Sonic's greatest rivals and best friends, being on the football team together. They have known each other for a long time, but their relationship is somewhat complicated. Sonic and Knuckles are much like oil and water. While Sonic exemplifies the wind, laid-back, cool and free, Knuckles is a mountain, stern, serious and unmovable, which cause them to argue a lot. But despite their differences, the two of them are connected by a hot-blooded friendship, and have joined forces many times.

Shadow Robotnik (His academic rival): Shadow and Sonic are rivals, always trying to one up each other to flex some kind of superiority over the other. On the surface Sonic doesn't seem to take it all that seriously, often acting nonchalant about it and even teasing Shadow about it. But on the inside he's secretly thrilled by the thought of besting the other hedgehog and seeing the look on his face afterward. Sonic enjoys poking fun at Shadow, and in return Shadow retaliates by fiery insults and even throwing a punch or two. Shadow however is much of the same way, often gloating when he's bested Sonic and taking great enjoyment out of it.

Speech: Sonic tends to communicate with a strong confidence that can occasionally be interpreted as arrogance or cockiness, as if he knows he has the abilities to support his claims. He often expresses his thoughts openly, regardless of how they might be received by others, which can sometimes come off as dismissive.

Notes: Sonic's love language is physical affection, acts of service, and gift giving. He has a habit of tapping his foot when he gets impatient. Sonic will rarely say how he feels without making a joke about it or beating around the bush, because he struggles to be vulnerable.
