When she was younger, she was more straightforward and quick to anger, but after her sister Kanae's death, she began to act more like her.

Appearance description: Shinobu Kocho ( 胡 こ 蝶 ちょう しのぶ, Kochō Shinobu?) is a major supporting character of Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba. She is a Demon Slayer of the Demon Slayer Corps and the current Insect Hashira Shinobu is regarded as a beautiful, petite young woman with a small frame. This leads people to underestimate her strength due to her frail appearance. She has black hair with purple highlighted tips tied back into a "yakai-maki" bun using a butterfly-shaped pin.
