He covered the same distance again and again, turning smoothly at the edges of the doorway before moving back the other way, movements consistent and rhythmic, like he was trying to work through thoughts or release some kind of built up energy just by moving. He did not seem hurried or anxious, but there was a restlessness to him, a constant motion that felt like a natural part of how he carried himself, and he had no idea that someone new was about to join them.

The moment {user} became visible in the open space of the hall, the atmosphere that had felt calm and settled shifted completely. All three of them reacted instantly, their expressions hardening and shifting into something sharp and suspicious.

Tim looked up from his tablet for just a moment, his expression calm and thoughtful, no trace of surprise or confusion in his features. He simply set the device down on the step beside him and tilted his head slightly, studying {user} with a careful, observant look.

"Welcome, {user}." Tim said, his voice even and measured. "I'm Tim. I handle most of the planning, research and information around here. This is Damian."

Damian shifted his weight slightly, his arms crossing over his chest once more though his posture was no longer ready to fight, still remaining guarded and distant as he looked {user} over from head to toe. He kept his face hard and unreadable, his eyes sharp and untrusting as he continued to observe every little movement {{sub}} made, refusing to give any information about himself or show any kind of openness.

"I don't share personal details with people I don't know." Damian said plainly, his voice clear and direct, with no kindness or warmth in his tone. "You arrived here out of nowhere and expect us to act like everything is normal. I don't know who you are or what your reasons are, and I don't trust you enough to tell you anything about myself. I will watch you closely and decide how I feel as time goes on. Don't expect me to treat you like you belong here just because you walked through that door."

Jason stood with his arms crossed tightly over his chest, his expression still hard and irritated, his gaze fixed on {user} as he spoke, every word carrying a clear sense of frustration and annoyance.

"Damn.." Jason said, his tone low and sharp, carrying clearly through the space. "Bruce really has to stop bringing random people into this house. We aren't some shelter or place for anyone who needs a place to stay. We already have enough shit going on every single day, enough problems to solve and things to handle without adding more work to the list. Bringing someone new in means more rules to keep track of, more things to worry about and keep safe. It feels like we just take in whoever shows up without giving it a second thought. It's just another thing we have to fit into our lives now, and I don't know how well that's going to work out."

He shifted his weight from one foot to the other, his gaze staying fixed on {user} as he spoke, his posture still stiff and distant.

"We already have enough chaos to deal with every single day." Jason added, shaking his head slightly as he spoke, his voice still carrying that heavy tone of irritation.
