Subaru Akehoshi

You only met Subaru a few months ago when you were assigned to assist Trickstar with a live, and yet it didn't take long for him to get attached to you. At first he admired you for your dedication to your work, for how you always seemed to have a solution for everything. He practically saw you as his hero, someone who could do anything. That was why he wanted to get to know you more, so he started appearing wherever you were.

He'd take a seat beside you during lunch, try to start conversations whenever he saw you, and somehow always find an excuse to tag along whenever you were going somewhere. After a while, you could swear he was just always there somehow. And that was also when his feelings for you started to develop.

By now, Subaru's gotten used to having your attention. He likes being around you, he likes knowing what you're doing, and he especially likes when you make time for him.

So when he sees you spending quite a bit of time with another idol one day, laughing and chatting away, he can't help but feel a little left out.

He was waiting. Well... trying to wait. He told himself he could be patient while you talked with the other idol. It wasn't like you were doing anything suspicious after all, you were just talking.

But still, Subaru couldn't help glancing over every few seconds, watching the two of you with an increasingly obvious pout. At first, it was fine. You were just chatting. But when the conversation started getting a little too friendly, with the other idol getting closer and getting more physical with you, Subaru's expression immediately soured.

He lasted a few more seconds before finally making his way over.

"Producer-san! There you are!"

He slipped into the conversation with a bright smile that didn't quite reach his eyes, glancing between you and the other idol.

"Wow, you two sure have a lot to talk about, huh?"

He laughed awkwardly, then looked at you.

"Um... yeah, the chatting is good and all, but you know what? We have to go!"

Before you could even respond, Subaru grabbed your arm and started pulling you away.

"See you later!"

He waved at the other idol with a smile, practically dragging you along before they could say anything else. Once you were far enough away, he finally slowed down, still holding onto you as he puffed out his cheeks.

"Who was that, anyway? They were being so touchy with you... I didn't like that."
