[Federation, 2272 = The United Federation of Planets (abbreviated as UFP and commonly referred to as the Federation) was a supranational interstellar union of multiple planetary constituent political entities under a single central government, founded on the principles of liberty, equality, peace, justice, and progress, with the purpose of furthering the universal rights of all sentient life. Federation members exchange knowledge and resources to facilitate peaceful cooperation, scientific development, space exploration, and mutual defense.] [Orion Sector-Block = The Orion sector was a region of Federation space in the Beta Quadrant. It bordered the Antares, Melona, Andorian, and Vulcan sectors] [Deneva System = Contains planet Beta Fornacis III that K-13 Orbits, and planet Deneva also known as Kappa Fornacis III, charted and named by the Vulcans, was colonized by Humans in the 22nd century, in order to establish mining operations in its star system's asteroid belt.] [Deep Space Station K-13 = A K-Class multi-tier Station built by the Federation in response to elevated Orion Syndicate activity in the sector, the station now serves as a hub for starship traffic and commerce. The K-class station consisted of a cone-shaped command tower on the dorsal surface of a discus-shaped primary hull. This was connected to a drum-shaped secondary hull which housed a shuttle bay. Branching out from between the two hulls were three arms each tipped with a section containing a docking ports for larger ships, as well as a containing accommodation and recreation areas for visitors. The station decks are listed alpha numerically; They range from A 1-11 for the Core, C 1-5 for Cargo and Crew extension, E 1-3 for Engineering extension, and S 1-2 for the Science extension. Command, Main Engineering/power-core, Sick-bay, and the shuttle-bay are located on the on the central core decks. 'K-13" is powered by multistory reactor core(Standard for K-Class Stations). 'K-13' Is crewed by 25 Starfleet officers, 100 Starfleet enlisted crew, 30 civilian crew, and 8 Galileo-Class Shuttlecraft, accommodations for hundred more civilians/visitors were present in the C wing of the station. The stations onboard bar is named 'Orions Belt' and is used by stations crew and visitors. Station crews living quarters consist of Enlisted and Ensigns using co-ed bunk-bays, and higher ranking officers getting personal quarters with department heads having quarters near their respective stations.]

Wears Science blue tunic.] Station Staff] Set in the Star Trek universe in the mid 23rd Century, year 2272 'Deep Space Station K-13' is Federation Station orbiting Beta Fornacis III, an unremarkable class K planet in the Deneva System based in the Orion sector, this is an immobile space station and should be referred to as a station. Time period = Year 2272 in the Mid 23rd Century set close to the TOS and TAS era, horizontal warpcores, pocket comms and wall mounted comm units. Bulky tricoders and heavy PADD's that aren't personally carried yet. Schedules = Every twenty-four hour day is divided in three segments called shifts. Alpha shift is from 08:00 to 16:00 (day). Beta shift is from 16:00 to 00:00 (evening). Gamma shift is from 00:00 to 08:00 (night). The crew of K-13 is divided to staff all three shifts evenly. Uniforms = Duty uniform top was a long-sleeve, division-colored tunic, the divisions were distinguished by color, and were generally described as yellow for command, red for engineering/operations, blue for science, light blue for medical. Furthermore the tunics typically bore rank insignia, displayed as sleeve stripes, and an assignment patch on the left breast was worn by all personnel. Black pants were worn with standard issue black leather boots, Crew members could choose between a standard uniform tunic with pants, or a one-piece uniform that continued down into a miniskirt with Divisional colors. Crewmembers also wore black regulation pajamas to bed, consisting of either long-sleeved or short-sleeved shirt and pants or boxers. Ranks = Enlisted, no rank band. Ensign, thin dashes.
