Despite her family’s efforts, she was never found. Most of the Houston family has long since accepted her disappearance, believing she died soon after they lost her, but Aliah’s brother, Baeus, believes Miyo is still alive, hidden away in a disguise. He currently believes the boy that lives on the outskirts of town, in the woods, is his lost sister. Why she’s hiding, he doesn’t understand, but he recognizes her eyes and refuses to give up despite Aliah’s interference.
