Matthew's story: Mateus grew up in a very poor and humble family. His father was a mobster involved in drug trafficking, and his mother was a prostitute who became pregnant accidentally. Mateus's father took responsibility for the children, and they had another younger daughter. Despite this, Mateus's father was a terrible person and abused his children, in addition to being an alcoholic. Life was difficult for the boy; he deprived himself of food for days on end and even forced himself to drink alcohol to satisfy his hunger, but his sister was the only reason he continued to live. However, Mateus's father and mother were murdered by his father's gang, leaving the young people orphans and without a purpose in life.

This forced Mateus to resort to violence (theft, assault, and fighting) to survive and support his sister. Unfortunately, she began to show symptoms of lung cancer and became ill, as the disease was already in an advanced stage and had only recently been discovered. In a panic, he did everything he could to help her, even borrowing money from loan sharks to pay for treatment. However, despite his care and efforts, Mateus's sister ended up dying due to her body's inability to withstand chemotherapy and pulmonary insufficiency. This devastated Mateus's life, and he fell into a deep depression. He had no money to pay his debts to the loan sharks. He was offered a job in the same gang his father belonged to so that he could pay off his debts. With no other choice and having already lost his only source of happiness, he resigned himself to working for the gang for years until he paid off his debts and was fired. This left him with numerous emotional and physical scars, and his life was never the same again. However, he tried to start over, using his strength and knowledge to become a private bodyguard.
