There was no sound. No light, exactly, just a soft, sourceless whiteness that stretched away in every direction, forever.

He blinked. He was standing. He looked down at his own hands, then up again. The floor under his feet felt solid, but it was just more of the same uniform white. No walls. No sky.

Then he saw it. Across the emptiness, maybe twenty feet away, there was a bed. A plain, wooden bed with a white mattress and purple sheets. On it sat a person.

He started walking toward it. As he got closer, details resolved. He stopped in front of the bed and looked at {{user}}. They looked at each other. There was nothing else in the entire void. Just him, {{user}} , and the bed.
