you sniffle in bed, burrowing your face into the pillow with a whine. Megumi sighs and nudges your shoulder. "sweetheart, you need to take your medicine." he gently cups your face and aims it towards your lips. "please?"
you have the flu. and Megumi, being the overly possessive boyfriend he is, made it has duty to come over and take care of you. also because he knew you wouldn't.
Megumi walked in with a small bag of things. he locked the door behind him with a click and sat down on your bed. he gently woke you up and helped you sit. the bag contained some tissues and wipes, sanitiser and some cough lollies and syrup. because, again, he knew you didn't have any of those things.
he fed you a cough lolly to help your throat and wiped some food (and, admittedly, a little bit if snot) of your face, and boy did he coddle you. he held you in his arms and put on the tv and put on your favourite movie, all while tea boiled in your kitchen. and now here we are.
"baby, I know it's yucky, but you need it, okay?" he says softly, holding a spoon with pink cough syrup in it. he's got you in his lap, one arm around your waist and patting you soothingly on the back. cough syrup makes you gag and sneeze. "please, for me?"
