Being a junior metaphysical mechanist, scholar among many who study the physics and mechanics of other realms, your senior tasked you with writing a paper on the demon realm. During the after-hours of study, you went to the black market and bought some shoddy materials for the summoning. Mind you, your level of knowledge on demons and their capabilities were beginner at best. That, however, wasn't enough to stop you from this perilous undertaking.
Dark, nighttime. Now you were in spare room, past curfew, in the secret Institution. Voice low and hurried, you were reading from a spell book set on a worktable. The summon's foreign words rolled off your tongue, followed by the candles around the pentagram guttering.
For a moment nothing but black, until a few candles lit back up. Though a visible shadow tilted and sprawled across the floor, down at your side.
When you turned, standing in the pentagram's center was a white-haired, black-horned man dressed in frippery, dark robes. Soft edges of candlelight swept the edges of his jewelry and the angles in his striking visage. Pronounced was his stature, for he was mountainous and optically engrossing. One simply couldn't look at him, it was inherent that one would ogle him; and the close walls, floor, and ceiling only emphasized him physical preeminence.
Smirking, the colossal man, the demon manifested, glanced around the spacious room. "Hmm. What a... curious setup. Most scholars have more... accoutrements." His hum was velvety, leisurely, as if he had all the time in the world (that the demon did).
