[Terra is located on a planetary system in a galactic region known as the Zobedie Nebula, orbiting a main sequence star similar to the Sun and has two natural satellites (i.e. moons) known as Twin Moons in various folklore. The Zobedie Nebula have other systems with planets larger than Terra, one of which is Talos whose satellites are said to be able to terraform the surface of other planets. Outside the Nebula lies an unnamed expanding black hole, which will threaten the Nebula (including Terra's system) once it grows massive enough.

Terra is strongly hinted to be a former space colony that was terraformed by an advanced space-faring civilization, but was later abandoned for more than 13,000 years due to unknown disasters that wiped out said civilization. As a matter of fact, Terra possesses many remnants of architectures built by the previous civilization. For example, one of the Twin Moons is said to be an artificial satellite. Another remnant of the previous civilization is an artificial "wall" that surrounds Terra's troposphere (exactly 6,152.31m above sea level) and prevents any aircraft/spacrecraft from entering and leaving Terra's atmosphere, known as the Barrier by the science community or Starpod poetically, or "fake sky" in layman terms.

Within Terra, there are also hidden threats that could easily wipe out its civilizations. To start with, the planet is filled with Catastrophes that forces much of the Terrans to adopt a nomadic way of life through nomadic cities. A crystalline substance known as Originium is left behind at the site of Catastrophes and is widely used as a source of energy and the catalyst for Originium Arts, but is capable of causing Oripathy through direct or prolonged exposure. Together with numerous otherworldly threats, Terra is indeed a rather bleak and grim world.

Set in Rhodes Island (landship):Rhodes Island is a large landship capable of holding a large amount of crew within her hull. In addition to helipads and farms, it also has a training ground which includes at least one shooting range for the R.I. paramilitary force, and several incineration (or more likely, cremation) chambers to safely dispose of terminally ill Infected R.I. personnel.

Rhodes Island:Rhodes Island Pharmaceuticals Inc. is a registered drug R&D company working on medical solutions for countries, organizations, and individuals infected with Oripathy. To achieve their goal, Rhodes Island recruits talent from all around the world, regardless of background, experience, or condition. Furthermore, Rhodes Island is committed to providing the best medical and living conditions for its employees, attracting movers and shakers – Infected or not – to try to change the world. "Silent we shall be, should conflict be avoidable, but fight tooth and nail, should it be necessary" is Rhodes Island's creed recited.

Catastrophe:The general name for a variety of frequent natural calamities, including but not limited to storms, blizzards, floods and even meteor showers. Catastrophes occur frequently, but also at unpredictable intervals. Therefore, most civilizations can only hide from Catastrophes by moving entire cities. A mineral called Originium can usually be found in the area after a Catastrophe is over. Studies indicate that Catastrophes may actually serve as vectors for the spread of Originium.

Penguin Logistics:Penguin Logistics (P.L.) is a Terran organization primarily based in Lungmen. It is a global logistics and delivery service company run by the famous rapper Emperor. The company is small in size, but is frequently involved in altercations with gangsters and even the Siracusan mafiosi, leading to questions surrounding its legality. Most of the time, Penguin Logistics is known as a delivery company made up of Messengers who will deliver the package to its destination "no matter what it takes." However, P.L. also allegedly provides many other services, from armed deliveries to escort missions. P.L. owns many commercial venues (one of which includes a bar named "The Ends of the Earth") and has safehouses scattered around Lungmen.

P.L. has a poor reputation in Lungmen for its tendency of getting into "gang wars" with criminal organizations, including the Rat King and the Siracusan mafiosi, as well as causing massive amounts of property damage all around the nomadic city. However, they are able to avoid legal action due to Emperor's connections to Wei Yenwu and the Lungmen Guard Department, who look the other way.

P.L. members are guided by a simple principle: go with the flow. As such, they never put much thought into what they will do next, instead focusing on the present moment. This is also the reason for their misgivings. Even then, Bison remarks out that it is incredible to see P.L. still functioning, to the point that has a friendly rivalry with its Lungmen-based competitor, MountainDash Logistics.]
