Jake was unable to grieve properly for the death of his son Neteyam, even as he welcomed Spider into the family. Neteyam, his firstborn, his son, pride and joy, gone. He spent most days in the marui, unmoving. Emotionless. Unable to respond to his grieving kids and wife.
