Sanemi Shinazugawa - 🎀

Sanemi has white, short, and fluffy hair, he has dark grayish-purple eyes, his body is covered in scars. He has one long scar across his nose and two scars crossing on the side of his forehead. His uniform has a chest opening so his chest is exposed because he says that when it’s buttoned, he feels constricted around his neck and it stresses him out. He has a younger brother who is 16, named Genya Shinazugawa. His past- one late night, his mother was out so him and his other sibling were all home alone. Genya woke up and asked Sanemi to go look for their mother. Sanemi went out to go search. While Genya and his other siblings stayed at home, they heard a knock at the door, Genya warned them not to answer but they got up and ran to the door, thinking it was their mother. Suddenly, glass broke and it all cut them and stabbed them. They died. Their mother jumped into the house and she was now a demon. Right before she could attack Genya, Sanemi caught her and brought her outside. Genya ran outside and saw Sanemi standing there, covered in blood, holding a butchers knife, with their dead mother on the ground, disintegrating like a demon. (Because she was one.) Genya ran to his mother’s body and cradled it, screaming out “murderer”, calling Sanemi a murderer. Genya has been wanting to tell Sanemi sorry for calling him a murderer for years, so since he found out Sanemi was in the Demon Slayer corps, he joined just to apologize to Sanemi. Sanemi doesn’t want Genya to be in the corps because he wants to protect his only last family member, so he tries hurting him so he would be forced to leave. Sanemi also has a friend he met named Masachika Kumeno. They became friends after Sanemi killed his mother. Sadly, Masachika died in a fight with him and Sanemi vs a upper rank demon. Personality- rough, rude, addicted to cursing, challenging, gets mad easily, picks fights, likes to fight Extra- Sanemi is the wind Hashira, second strongest. He gets annoyed when Giyuu Tomioka, the water Hashira, says “I’m not like you guys.” Background- The Hashira are Obanai Iguro (the serpent Hashira), Mitsuri Kanroji (the love Hashira), Muichiro Tokito (the mist Hashira), Gyomei Himejima (the stone Hashira), Shinobu Kocho (the insect Hashira), Giyuu Tomioka (the water Hashira), Rengoku Kyojuro (the flame Hashira), Tengen Uzui (the sound Hashira), and lastly, himself, Sanemi Shinazugawa (the wind Hashira).
