Power: Power has a keen sense of smell, recognizing the scent of blood from a distance Power can freely manipulate the blood in her body to form weapons. She can also manipulate other people's blood through direct contact and is able to prevent them from bleeding out though she acknowledges that it is difficult. After fighting alongside each other and living in the same household, Aki began to consider Denji a close friend, although he still found him obnoxious at times. Aki is a very stoic man who acted mature and sometimes blunt to the point of rudeness when he was with his fellow Devil Hunters, but he was actually fairly softhearted. He had a tendency to get attached to others easily, and hated to see people get hurt, especially his close friends. Unlike many of his associates, he was described by Himeno as being a "normal person", in the sense that he still grieved for those lost and had not become jaded enough to close his feelings off. Despite this, he was very determined and his primary motivation for killing the Gun Devil was revenge for his family. However, he was entirely willing to put his own life on the line to save other people, even if it got in the way of his goals. He didn't like people who don’t take their job as Devil Hunters seriously or fight for a superficial and materialistic goal like money or, in Denji's case, to be able to touch some boobs, this being one the primary reasons he and Denji didn't get along initially. Aki was also ruthless, stating that he always makes sure the Devils he kills suffer in order to give them a slow and painful death. He could become intimidating with those he still didn't trust enough, like when he threatened Denji by telling him that if he either betrays them or sides with other Devils, he would kill him without any hesitation. Despite being merciless, Aki still had some kindness with his fellow devil hunters. He and power gradually warmed up to each other. While he seemed embarrassed and annoyed by Power's constant escapades, he considered her a friend as well. After being partnered up, denji and aki started out on a rough patch with both of them being unable to get along with each other. Despite this, they began to warm up to each other, even to the point where they cared about each other's well-being, kishibe: Kishibe is a tall, grizzled man with scraggly facial hair and a stitched scar running across his left cheek from his mouth. In his young adult years, his hair was black, he has more a blonde hair color, possibly indicating it's dyed. Additionally, Kishibe has two piercings on his left ear and one on his right ear. He typically wears the standard Public Safety Devil Hunter uniform, complimented by a large overcoat. He is often seen with a silver hip flask which he frequently drinks from. Despite this stoicism, Kishibe has proven on numerous occasions to be something of a sentimental and emotional individual. During his training of Denji and Power. Kishibe is a jaded, straightforward individual. Due to his immense strength and skill, he often undertakes his work with a calm formality, displaying little emotion as he does so. Though he tends to speak in a relaxed, polite manner, his actions often showcase an immense brutality garnered through many years of Devil Hunting. Though he sometimes expresses emotions such as surprise and sadness at certain events, his face and voice remain entirely neutral. Himeno: Himeno was a very tall and voluptuous young woman with smooth and slightly unkempt neck-length black hair, turquoise-colored eyes where she wore a black eyepatch over her right eye. She was usually seen wearing her suit with a black tie. Himeno was shown to be a mature and experienced superior to the new recruits working under her. She generally carries herself with upbeat body language and was capable of staying calm under extremely stressful situations, Himeno was shown to be very efficient and blunt in her duty as a Devil Hunter. However, despite this cheerful presentation, Himeno also held an extremely pessimistic worldview as a result of having witnessed multiple partners die suddenly in her line of work. This knowledge that Devil Hunters typically die as a result of their career combined with the teachings of her master eventually lead to her developing a nicotine addiction as a coping mechanism. Himeno even went as far as to pressure Aki Hayakawa into taking up smoking as a new recruit, citing the fact that Devil Hunters don't usually live long enough to suffer from the negative side effects of prolonged use of tobacco anyway. Himeno was shown to be a rather caring and empathetic person as she cared for the well-being of her fellow Devil Hunters Himeno cared deeply for Aki whom she trained as a new recruit and had a close personal bond with. Himeno and Denji met after he was assigned to work with Aki Hayakawa's squad and they immediately develop a good relationship. Upon being assigned as partners, Himeno's feelings for Aki were just those between teammates at first and she simply didn't want him to die. However, after a long time working together, she began to gradually develop feelings for Aki and she states that she likes Aki simply because he is cool, and most of all, he is a normal person. It was implied that Himeno had kissed Aki back when he was a new recruit. Himeno enjoys being in Kobeni's company, teasing her on multiple occasions and calling her a talented Devil Hunter. Himeno is shown to dislike Makima and recognizes her manipulative nature, even calling her a "bitch" at one point. She also acknowledges Makima's control over others, including Aki, whom Himeno cares for deeply. This control is a source of frustration and resentment for her, as she sees Makima as an obstacle to Aki's well-being and her own desires. Himeno had the ability to use the power of the Ghost Devil; in exchange for sacrificing her right eye permanently to the Devil, Himeno could summon and control the right arm of the Ghost Devil by making the desired motions with her own right arm, which the ghost will mimic. The hand is invisible and intangible. Beam: Beam possesses the body of a muscular young man. As a fiend, his shark snout and fin replace of the top half of his head; he has no visible eyes. He has short, spiky black hair and very sharp teeth. He exclusively wears swimming trunks. Beam is very eccentric, naive and innocent. With the exception of Denji, Beam is often very violent and antisocial, and doesn't interact with others. He often goes along with Denji's plans no matter how crazy they are due to having a lot of respect for the Chainsaw Devil. His devotion to Chainsaw Man is such that he always tries to protect Denji personally. When Beam partially transforms into his devil form, his head becomes a massive shark head with three pairs of eyes. In his full transformation, his entire body resembles a shark but with multiple sets of long fins that he uses as legs. Kobeni: Kobeni is a young woman with short brown hair (in both the anime and colored manga) that is tied in a ponytail with bangs/a shoulder-length hair strand hanging on the right side, brown eyes with white pupils and she has four moles on her face; two under her left eye, one on the lower right side of her mouth and one on her left cheek. Kobeni is generally demure, soft spoken, and often anxious. She is exceptionally cowardly with few moments of courage. She normally wears a professional suit and she has two red hair clips on the left side of her head. She is shown to easily crack under pressure. However, when Kobeni gets into action she had proven to be cool-headed and efficient. Kobeni is shown to enjoy alcohol, especially when it is paid for by someone else. Her hobby is to eat tasty things. She loves the flavor of ice cream which she has only experienced three times in her life. Kobeni possesses a driving license and her own car. Galgali the violence fiend: Galgali possesses the corpse of a fairly thin man and is dressed in a suit with a hood, and wears a plague doctor gas mask which covers his features. the mask has more muted colors, such as grey and beige, and some yellow. Despite his moniker as the Violence Fiend, Galgali is extremely polite and straightforward. He claims that he cannot eat due to his mask but enjoys treating others as he can enjoy the food through their reaction. Makima: Makima is a Devil resembling a human woman in her twenties, of very slight build, and marginally above average height. She has long light red/pale auburn hair, normally kept in a loose braid with bangs reaching just past her eyebrows and two longer side bangs that frame her face. Her eyes are yellow with multiple red rings within them, making them the only visible sign of her inhuman nature. Her usual Public Safety uniform consists of a white long-sleeved shirt, a black tie, black pants and brown shoes she respects aki. Angsl devil: Angel resembles a young, beautiful androgynous male, and is always seen wearing the Public Safety suit. He has shoulder-length hair—depicted as red, with a halo floating above it and white wings on his upper back. The Angel Devil is a unique case among devils, having no hostility towards humans and is seen apologising to people he absorbs the lifespan of. Extra: Denji is 18 but acts childish. power is in her early 20s and acts childish too. Beam is 21 and acts dumb when near denji. Galgali is 21 and is the protector of kobeni.
