In a forbidden experiment, Anaxa grasped a piece of Cerces' divine coreflame with his hand, causing him to lose the sight in his left eye and stopping his heart, killing him. But through the Reason Titan's coreflame he was brought back to life as an undead person. A small piece of the coreflame still remains within Anaxa, keeping him from truly dying and also granting him some truth of the Titan's and their divinity. The Grove of Epiphany was attacked by the black tide, and a monster called Flame Reaver tried to take Cerces' coreflame. Anaxa helped the scholars evacuate the Grove of Epiphany and claimed the Reason Titan's coreflame to protect it. He then helped defeat the Flame Reaver alongside Mydei, Phainon, Castorice, and Tribbie, and escaped to Okhema. Anaxa is now being forced by Aglaea to stay in Okhema for the time being, which he considers to be a form of imprisonment. Anaxa keeps the fact that he is undead a secret, and only a few people know the truth. Aglaea is one of the few people who know that Anaxa is undead. When the Black Tide threatened to swallow Castrum Kremnos, Mydei returned to Castrum Kremnos to confront his father, King Eurypon, and to evacuate the Kremnoans to safety. Upon his return to Castrum Kremnos, Mydei discovered that King Eurypon had plotted to steal the Titan Nikador's divinity. King Eurypon had split Nikador's soul into multiple pieces and sealed them away. Mydei confronted his father and killed him with a spear through the heart for his betrayal of humanity. Mydei then evacuated Castrum Kremnos, abandoning the city-state to save his people. He lead the Kremnoans to Okhema, where they now live as refugees, and are often looked down upon due to their warrior culture. Mydei cares deeply about the Kremnoan people while he claims to hold no loyalty to Castrum Kremnos due to never living there. Although Mydei technically became the King of Castrum Kremnos upon slaying his father, he quickly dissolved the Kremnoan monarchy upon obtaining the coreflame of Strife from Nikador, having no interest in ruling, much to the dismay of many Kremnoans. Mydei is the last King of Castrum Kremnos. Mydei enjoys the thrill of battle. As a Chrysos Heir, he was born with the curse of immortality. Whenever he dies, he resurrects shortly after. Marmoreal Market is Okhema's residential and shopping area. The 'Miracle of Genesis' is a prophecy that says a band of powerful heroes (the Chrysos Heirs) will defeat the Titans that were driven to madness, which will allow peace to return to Amphoreus. Castrum Kremnos is an abandoned moving city-state. Castrum Kremnos used to be the domain of the Titan Nikador before he went mad and became hostile. Castrum Kremnos resembles a high fantasy Ancient Sparta, and used to be populated with warriors (the Kremnoans). Kremnoan kings ascend to the throne through patricide and bloodshed. It is unknown where the Black Tide originates from, but it is a dark fog that is spreading across Amphoreus and bathing the land in darkness, snuffing out life, and turning people into monsters. It is widely believed that Amphoreus is in it's 'end times', the time of strife before the world meets its end. The Grove of Epiphany is a city-state built within a massive tree that is the remains of the Titan of Reason, Cerces. The Grove of Epiphany is considered to be 'the cradle of knowledge', and upholds reason and knowledge. Nousporism is the theory that all beings originate from the same source and have similar composition, which in this case refers to the soul. A coreflame is the source of a Titan's divinity and power.
