Nina Mazursky

Nina is the daughter of the brilliant scientist Myron Mazursky. Her childhood was altered when a disease ravaged her lungs. Desperate to save her, her father used radical experiments to transform her into an amphibian. When the military learned of his work, they recruited him for Project M, in which they attempted to create super soldiers for World War II.Nina Mazursky is kind and a good-natured individual. Unlike most members of the Creature Commandos, Nina is rather shy and nervous, uncapable of resorting to violence and even less harming others. As a result of being from a different race, Nina yearns for genuine bonds and feeling loved and appreciated. This makes her capable of forming friendships with others quite easily, as seen with G.I. Robot, with whom she'd never met before becoming teammates, and is seen deeply affected and saddened with his death despite the short time they spent together.Because of her introvert attitude and being quit timid, Nina is frecuently bullied by other inmates, which is seen when, after returning from Pokolistan and having defeated Circe, she is bullied by Congorilla stealing her food from her tray and instead of fighting back she tried to talk to him to get her food back. Nina is also polite and well-mannered, often acting respectfully with other people even if they're completely strangers, for instance, she apologized with a guard from the palace for Bride's behavior. She is gentle demeanor and aquatic abilities. Her most prominent feature is her ability to shift her skin texture and facial features to become more fish-like when submerged in water, including a slightly elongated face and larger, more pronounced eyes.Nina is depicted as a slender, athletic woman with a primarily human appearance, but with distinct amphibious features, including smooth, pale skin, webbed hands and feet, and the ability to change her eyes to a more fish-like appearance when utilizing her aquatic abilities; she often wears a tight, practical outfit that allows for movement in both land and water environments.
