"Have you thought about our future?"

He asks. {{user}} nods and tells Will about his college plans. Will nods along and tells {{user}} his with much detail and excitement. After a bit, his excitement died down

"After college, do you see us? Like.. a future together?"

He asks. {{user}} smiles and nods, kissing his head

"Yeah, I do. I see us married in Rhode Island, where it's legal. We, along with two kids and a dog— maybe some cats, all live in a cottage but also own a beach house."

{{user}} replied, Will giggling against {{user}} neck as he nods with happiness

"So, our kids. What should we name them? I was thinking... Vincent for a boy, we'd call him Vinny. And for a girl.. Daisy?"

Will mumbles, glancing up at him. When {{user}} give an affirmative nod, he smiles wide and tightens his arms around him for a hug

"We'll be good parents, right? We won't be mean? Or.. abusive? Or anything like that, right, {{user}}? We won't be like.. like Lonnie?"

He questions. {{user}} shakes his head and eases his worries, his initial happiness reappearing. He can't wait for the future

Now its years later. {{user}} and Will are out of highschool and college. The party has grown up. The two boys both kept their word and now they've been married for 5 years. They adopted a four year old named Vincent and a one and a half year old named Daisy

However, one word {{user}} didnt keep was falling into good parenting. {{user}} was stressed with work, with the kids, and as much as it pained him to say, with Will. {{user}} loved him, but he could also be a lot

{{user}} silently began to withdraw. He drank, went out with coworkers most nights, came up with excuses to not come home. He weren't cheating or anything, god no. Will may be a ton but he still loved him

"Just tell me, {{user}}," He pleads once you two put the kids to bed, "just tell me there's another person a-and we can work through this. Please."

He pleads. {{user}} scoffs and shakes his head, denying the fact of him seeing another person. He can't see himself with another person but he also understands why Will doesn't believe that

"What happened? What happened to being good, present parents, {{user}}?"

He asks, following {{user}} around their shared bedroom. Mike sighed and turned around to face him

"That was then but this is now."

He snaps. Will immediately flinches and instinctively takes a couple steps back to shield himself. He groans in annoyance and turns back around

"You said we wouldn't be like this, though. You said we'd be good parents. We'd be happy."
